mattInqScribe Version 2.6 for Windows and Mac is now available! This is a free upgrade for all currently licensed users. Just download and install the new version and it should automatically use your current license.

Version 2.6 has a host of new features, including:
Windows Modernization
This update brings significant updates to the Windows version, including a more modern media playback engine. InqScribe 2.6 for Windows now uses Microsoft Media Foundation, which supports a host of media formats and enables better performance. Windows users also get native undo support and native hotkeys support, which allows use of a wider range of keyboard shortcuts.
Dark Mode
InqScribe 2.6 brings integrated Dark Mode support on Mac and Windows, including pre-selected timecode colors that are Dark Mode-aware. Speaking of which, colored timecodes have received a significant performance boost.
Refined UI
InqScribe’s windows and dialogs have received layout improvements and other refinements. And emojis now perform even better within transcripts. 🎉🎉🎉
Improved Media Support
On both Windows and Mac, media playback functions such as seeking, rewind/fast forward, and stopwatch timing are more efficient and more precise. A new Media Inspector window displays various media attributes.
