Yes, InqScribe supports macOS 27 aka “Golden Gate”.
The main updates to macOS 27 are the user interface and Apple Intelligence, specifically Siri AI.
You’ll see some refinement of the user interface, especially for windows. But these changes are relatively minor.
InqScribe uses Whisper as our AI model, which is a completely separate AI model that is not affected at all by any Siri AI changes. AI transcription via InqScribe remains private and on your computer.
Currently, as of InqScribe version 3.0.0.430, Siri AI is unable to read InqScribe files directly, nor control InqScribe directly. You can export your InqScribe files to text or another format that Siri AI can read If you want to have Siri AI process your files. Note that Siri AI services use Apple’s servers, so use it prudently if you’re concerned about data privacy.
