As you may already know, version 2.5 is an upcoming update that brings a new HD interface, an improved media engine, and full macOS Catalina\/Big Sur support. Both this public beta and the soon-to-come official release will be free to current InqScribe license holders.<\/p>\n<p>This new 2.5.0.292 beta update is mostly concerned with bug fixes and small tweaks and extends the expiration date to 7\/21\/2020. Here&#8217;s what&#8217;s new:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Better management of keyboard shortcuts across keyboard layouts.<\/li>\n<li>Unmuting now more reliably restores the prior volume.<\/li>\n<li>InqScribe once again warns you if you try to assign the same key combination to multiple shortcuts.<\/li>\n<li>Minor UI improvements and bug fixes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can get the new update by downloading it directly from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inqscribe.com\/download.html#versions\">https:\/\/www.inqscribe.com\/download.html#versions<\/a>. Windows users, hold tight!
