To permanently write your subtitles into the video image, head over to<\/span> <a title=\"InqScribe Support - How do I burn subtitles onto a video track?\" href=\"http:\/\/support.inqscribe.com\/knowledgebase\/articles\/14395-how-do-i-burn-subtitles-onto-a-video-track\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this support article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"prepare-your-inqscribe-transcript\">Prepare Your InqScribe Transcript<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal;color: #000000\">First, open up your InqScribe document and make sure your transcript and timecodes are in order. Once everything looks good, we&#8217;re going to export as a <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal\" title=\"InqScribe Blog: What's the Deal with WebVTT?\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.inquirium.net\/inqscribe\/2015\/05\/whats-the-deal-with-webvtt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WebVTT <\/a><span style=\"font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal;color: #000000\">file. This will require InqScribe version 2.2.3 or newer. Vimeo also supports the SRT and SCC format, but <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal\" title=\"Vimeo Caption and Subtitle File Support\" href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/help\/faq\/managing-your-videos\/captions-and-subtitles#what-caption-and-subtitle-file-formats-does-vimeo-support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">they recommend<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal\">using WebVTT when possible<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal;color: #000000\">Select &#8220;File &gt; Export &gt; WebVTT&#8230;&#8221;, name your file and choose a save location. Make a note of this location because we&#8217;ll need to access it again in a moment.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"upload-to-vimeo\">Upload to Vimeo<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal;color: #000000\">Before jumping into the directions below, first make sure to upload your video to Vimeo. You&#8217;ll need to log in or create an account, then select the &#8220;Upload&#8221; button at the top right of Vimeo&#8217;s site. It should be fairly self-explanatory, but if you need help, Vimeo has <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal\" title=\"Uploading to Vimeo FAQ\" href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/help\/faq\/uploading-to-vimeo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">some tips here<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"add-your-caption-or-subtitle-file\">Add Your Caption or Subtitle File<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Once you have your video uploaded, here&#8217;s how to upload your caption or subtitle file:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Log in to Vimeo and navigate to the &#8220;My Videos&#8221; section of the topbar menu.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Select your video and click on &#8220;Settings.&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">In the Video Settings menu, click &#8220;Advanced&#8221;. You should see the screen pictured below.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Under &#8220;Add Captions &amp; Subtitles&#8221;, select &#8220;Choose file&#8221;. Locate your subtitle\/caption file and click Open.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Your file should appear below in the Enable Captions &amp; Subtitles section.
